The Race To Distinction - God Epp Us.

 

Hello, my guys. sheybi, you all know the possible grades someone can have in vet school, Abi? Well, if you don't, here is a quick update. There are only three grades you can have as a vet student.

• Either you Fail (0-49), 

• You Pass (50-74), 

• Abi, you join the big bosses and get Distinction (75-100). 

In every level of this vet school, after the first test or exam, most students will tell you all they need is 50 marks, especially when the lecturers have served them hot breakfast, they automatically join the ‘Waso geng'. Some pretty good guys will still aim for good grades, anything above 60, and the extraordinary beings, “nah only distinctions these ones sabi”, will still think about how to get distinctions. They just wan carry all the distinctions wey they go to this vet school. 

Make I yarn you something about these Distinction students… Them self-get class

1. Category 1: These ones will start reading after the semester's first class, or some even start before resumption. They give everything they have, including their time, social life, relationships, and fellowship, to their books and are almost always serious students.

2. Category 2: These ones are the blessed smart-asses. They are very unserious because they only need to read once a day for the exam to get a distinction. They’ll gist with you in class, make a lot of noise, stab classes, and walk around the faculty when they are free. 

However, in this race to distinction ehn, God's help is sought. Sadly, the race is not for the swift. Even though most distinction students claim to know their fates during the DVM exam, many will still be left “shenked” after the exam, and that experience can be devastating and traumatizing.  Sometimes, they are congratulated or told after the oral exam that they got a distinction in the course, only to see a 74. This is unfair to these students, but is it justified to say it is an injustice? Nah you fit answer that one sha. 

As we approach another DVM examination this semester, let’s take 1 minute to wish our dear distinction aspirants good luck because it is not easy; the kind trauma wey -0.6 don give for this department ehn… make God sha help person.
