Tips For The Hot Weather

Knowing how to prepare adequately for every season is very important. The hot season comes with some level of unease and discomfort. This discomfort can however be avoided with proper preparations. Here are some steps that you can take to make this season a bit more bearable.

1. Moisturize lightly: Body creams and lotions add an extra layer over the sweat pores and may make one to be more uncomfortable and possibly sweat more.

A way to reduce this is to moisturize with light lotions and to apply only a little amount on all exposed parts of the body.

2. Do Skincare lightly: The other day I saw on the internet that people stopped doing skincare because of the intensity of the heat. The way to go is to go simply with your moisturizer and sunscreen. You do not want too much products on your skin that will make you sweat more.

3. Napkins and Fans: Sweating during the hot season is inevitable. So having a napkin to always dab sweat from time to time may make you a bit more comfortable. Also, having a rechargeable fan or hand fan to carry around, will come in very handy.

4. Use deodorants, antiperspirants and perfumes: If there was any time where the use of perfumes and deodorants is very important, that time is now. You do not want to be smelly or stinky from too much sweat. So use deodorants, antiperspirants, perfume oils and perfumes so you can keep smelling nice despite the sweat.

5.Wear light clothes: This season is not one for turtlenecks and long sleeves. Leverage light fabrics like nylon, linen, chiffon, light cotton, etc. This is to allow air to be able to seep in efficiently to cool your skin.

6. Hydrate yourself: At this time, you lose a lot of water, and you lose it fast. And so it is important to always rehydrate from time to time.

I hope these tips make it easier to get through this season. You will definitely get through it. I’m rooting for you.
